who we are
Dear Friends,
     Because you are a friend of the Native American/Pagan/ and other Natural Earth Religion Community in Central
Illinois, we would like to let you know about our organization, the Temple of The Phoenix.

Who We Are:
     The Temple of The Phoenix ia a not for profit organization spearheaded by a group of citizens to help bring understanding and acceptance to all Native American/Pagan and other Nature Earth Religions in the area. With a total "open door" policy, we are offering those of different religions and paths a non-judgemental and safe place to meet in a welcoming environment.
     We hold weekly, bi-weekly, as well as monthly gatherings where those of the Native American/Pagan/Natural Earth Religion community can come together to network, grow in spirituality, learn, and make friends.

Serivces We Offer:
    Clergy Hospital/Home visits, Community Service, Alternative Medical Practioner, Herbalist, Sweat Lodge, Prison Ministry for City, County, State, Federal in Illinois. Emergency shelter and a Crisis Response Team, Relocating.
     We provide to our Members,  Birth n' Death Ceremonies, Passage of Vision Quest, Weddings, Handfastings, Civil Ceremonies, Dedications, Initiation, Pow-Wow, And many more Ceremonies/Gatherings/Celebrations/Solstices.

Our Goals
:
     We desire to provide services to the Community, such as access to Earth-Based marriage ceremonies provided by a licensed Reverend, religious education and instruction, as well as assistance with religious discrimination situations.
     We currently are providing a food bank, counselling for those in need, utility assistance to those in our community that have fallen upon hard times.  Scholarships for members to continue their education.
     Our goal is to bring awareness of our ways through education, information using the media and the local public access television. We wish to bring a positive visibility to the community we live, along with a monthly newsletter, lecture series, classes, celebrations n' gatherings.
